Core Training & Community Update

Happy Friday!  Welcome to the Iron Made Gym Newsletter.  Our goal with this production is to share information with our unique community that will help you reach your goals.

People always have the question of, “How often should I train core?”  This perhaps is best answered by Loui Simmons when he said “The branches are only as strong as the trunk.”  We implement core training every session.  I like to break it up into three categories:  static holds (plank variations), body weight (ab roller, sit ups, etc.), and weighted (decline sit ups, cable crunches, dumbbell side bends, etc.).  This ensures your stimulus changes daily and boredom does not set it.

The past two weeks we hosted Free Boot Camps!  One was on site and the second was outside using sledge hammers, a prowler, and tires.  Thank you to all who participated.  We look forward to offering more free sessions outside.

We had the honor the be the ‘New Middletown – Night Out Parade’ this year as a sponsor of a youth soccer team at Springfield Schools.  It was great to meet everyone and enjoy the family atmosphere.
Follow us on our social media platforms!

We are committed to offering free personal training sessions two times a week, and we promote these via our social media platforms.

Until next time Iron Made Community.
